ENPAY offers Insulation Kits which allow for optimization of the assembly cost of Power Transformers. Miscellaneous forms of Insulation Kits are available at ENPAY offering less assembly time and lower production cost to Power Transformers Producers.
ENPAY offers tailor-made solutions to insulate the lead out of the windings. These products are used to insulate the terminal leads of transformer windings. They are the final insulation components in the power transformers which regulate the electrostatic fields existing in the terminal leads and enable the transformer to work reliably. These products are manufactured by wet moulding method and customized solutions are available.
Cap and Angle Rings are produced from wet material by machine moulded method, and they are used as a barrier at the end of the transformer windings. A variety of diameters of caps and angle rings are available fulfilling customer’s specifications.
Edge-protections function as protective components commonly used between or over windings to cover winding edges. These products are produced from either wet material or ENPAYBOARD®.
Clackbands and toothbands form an effective duct for oil flow between winding layers. These components are produced by combining layers of insulation paper and small rectangular /trapezoid blocks which are made of ENPAYBOARD® and chamfered at corners.
Strips supported with cylindrical barriers have the function of radial spacing between different voltage levels of windings in power transformers as well as supporting the outer barriers and kit packages in mechanical- wise.
Strips well-matched with radial spacers furnish a good guide for winding layers. Spacers with several channel geometries can be produced fully compatible with trapezoid, rectangular or T-shaped strips facilitating a splendid separation of winding layers.
Shield rings distribute the electrical field gradient over the top and bottom ends of power transformer windings and regulate the peak values of the electrical field to the lower levels.
End rings which can be manufactured from ENPAYBOARD ® or ENPAY Laminated Pressboard are offered in various types to withstand axial and radial forces in a transformer.
Shield end rings are used to rectify the electrical field at the ends of spiral windings and support the winding in the axial direction.
Press rings can be produced customized having the function of clamping to create pressure on the winding of the transformer.
The Cylinders are manufactured from ENPAYBOARD® according to IEC 60641. We carry out different geometrical applications to reduce the electric field value in the edge areas exposing high electric field value. We can also simulate electrostatic and mechanical tests by Mineral and ESTER fluids.
