Shunt Reactor Cores (1200 kV - 400 MVAR)

Utilizing state-of-the-art technology in the production of Shunt Reactor Cores, ENPAY holds the leading position in the industry. With the advantages of an innovative and automated production line, ENPAY offers to its customers the most optimum solutions enabling Low Loss and Low Noise Shunt Reactor Cores. Depending on customers’ requirements, not only radially stacked columns but also completely assembled shunt reactor cores can be supplied. The shunt reactor cores can be produced as a compact structure of radially stacked cores with yoke & leg frame laminations with the cooling channels and insulation accessories as completely assembled cores. Wound yokes are additively one of the demandable elements which can be produced depending on customers’ requirements. 

Ceramic spacers which conform to the customer's specifications are used to obtain radial distance between core elements. The total weight of the core can reach up to 100 tons.

Beveled edge on core packages reduces average flux density on limbs and provides homogeneous flux distribution according to FEM analysis results, especially flux density on package corners is reduced.

This reduction provides low losses and low noise on the core.
